#ArtistChangemaker Leïla Saadna makes use of visual arts & film to highlight the realities of exile & the struggles of people impacted by migration.  She portrays the women in her documentaries, art, & film as “everyday resisters”, and tells the story of marginalized women with a feminist lens. Through her expressive & powerful art, #ArtistChangemaker Samantha Ainembabazi (Samantha Ainembabazi from Uganda spreads body positivity through her poetry & curation.  Her poetry evolved from being a form of escape from trauma, and she’s also launched an art-based movement to encourage women to love their bodies.
