Last month Gleaner Life’s Chester Arbor (Ohio) teamed with the Whetstone Center to provide a fun day for the PEPA (Preparing, Empowering, and Planning for Adulthood) camp program. PEPA is a hands-on camp is designed to help clients who are aging out of the program to participate in activities that prepare them for seeking employment and life skills. Chester Arbor took the PEPA participants to the Growler Dog Bones facility in Columbus, Ohio, for a day of discovery and possibilities. They toured the facility and were able to make dog biscuits.
