Give Back Cincinnati hosted our final event of the year - our annual Holiday Party! As a huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers and members for the incredible work they have done in 2023 helping to build up our communities. It was a great time of laughs, fun, food, and drinks! Give Back Cincinnati values building social communities for our young professional volunteers as well as advancing communities through service - and the holiday party is a great example of that! On December 2nd, Give Back Cincinnati held their final Interactive event of the year in partnership with the VA MEDICAL CENTER CINCINNATI! It was a great chance for our volunteers to meet members of the veteran community, sing karaoke, play board games, and give the veterans at the health center a fun holiday event! Give Back Cincinnati provides its members with the opportunity to not only volunteer in their community, but to do so while interacting with groups they may not normally come in contact with. This Thanksgiving, Give Back Cincinnati was proud to host its annual Fall Feast event at Duke Energy Convention Center! The event provided over 1,500 🦃 meals to guests, gave out over 1,800 🧥 coats and pieces of winter-wear, and had more than 600 👩🔧 volunteers support it! Such an amazing event bringing a safe holiday meal, health visits, coats, and more to our community! We would like to again thank all of our sponsors and volunteers, without whom none of this would be possible!! On November 11th, Give Back Cincinnati partnered with Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance for a Trail Blazin morning of trail construction in Westwood, helping to level parts of the in-progress trail and remove some of the honeysuckle that blocked the exit. CORA's trails help give residents of different neighborhoods easier walking access between different areas of the city and this trail provided residents of Westwood more direct access with the wonderful area of Mt. Airy! A great final hands-on event of the year, building trails to connect communities is just one way Give Back Cincinnati helps improve the community we live in!
