Thank you Salil Joshi for sharing your feedback and insights from #GEVernova's Igniting Powerful Energy Leaders (IPEL) course last week. Inspirational!
One of the signs of a great company is they invest in their employees. Last week was a perfect demonstration of that as I went through this invigorating experience with 80 other leaders from GE Vernova, located across the world from various business segments. The occasion was IPEL (Igniting Powerful Energy Leaders) training/workshop hosted at our Schenectady campus in USA. We learned many things in 3 days, here are few takeaways for me 🙂. - Vertical leadership development. - How solution for climate change is a complex equation and involves balancing act for Energy Trilemma. - Role of each GE Vernova business is extremely critical in energy transition as all businesses are pieces of the same puzzle. - I personally also learned by observing organizers about different methods and techniques to use for keeping 80 folks dialed in and focused in the the workshop for 3 days 😁! - After listening to our phenomenal leader, Scott Strazik, I got further affirmation to my belief that how critical it is to be open, genuine with people surrounding you. - We were mesmerized with the tremendous history associated with Schenectady campus. - And an unbeatable takeaway is the in-person interactions/networking we had with each other. Personally I have never experienced the diversity from all aspects like this in any of the other workshops I have attended so far! This post won't be complete if I don't thank few folks here. - Rich Been and all other speakers/facilitators (Jeffrey Goldmeer , Patrick Riley , John Catillaz ) for sharing their knowledge and making workshop fun. - Rachel Vincent and her team for top notch organization of the workshop and giving us a truly royal treatment so that we can fully focus on the workshop. Thank you #GEVernova. Folks reading my post, I hope you all get a chance to experience something like this where employee growth is front and centre 🙂!
