🪴Urban Gardening Delegation: Growing a Sustainable Future for Chicago & Berlin In collaboration with the German General Consulate Chicago (Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office) Germany), we will be welcoming six delegates from Berlin-based community gardens and the Berlin government to Chicago from July 17 – 19. This delegation explores a new series of partnerships between Berliners and Chicagoans within the urban agriculture sector, and will include visits to Plant Chicago, Urban Rivers, Urban Growers Collective, and Green Era Chicago Campus. The Berlin delegation looks forward to working with Chicagoans on how to use urban gardens to improve food security and quality, expand the circular economy, and promote sustainability education. 🪴Meet our delegates at our networking event on July 18th!
