    🚚 Delivery as a driver of business success We have recently released our B2B Recipient Barometer, a study on the views and preferences of companies across Europe to help us gauge the ideal delivery experience for businesses. 86% of SMEs think delivery is essential for the success of their business activities. Nearly half say price is the most important when choosing a supplier, followed by quality and trustworthiness. Other deciding factors include immediate availability, longer invoicing time and peer recommendation. 58% of SMEs want to choose the company to deliver their parcels, but only 15% can do so. This suggests a potential opportunity for couriers to offer recipients the option to choose the carrier themselves. Find out more in our report here: https://lnkd.in/emc_vqSr

    #WorldCleanupDay2024 Yesterday, our people came together for a second year to play our part in keeping our community clean. With more than 20 volunteers, we walked around our headquarters in Ville d'Issy-les-Moulineaux on a one-hour litter pick. And we even broke last year's record by collecting 64kg of trash and 3kg of cigarette butts. A huge thank you to all our people who contributed to this effort! #Environment #Sustainability #Teamwork

    Lenton & DPD China at the Forefront of Logistics At this year’s #CILF2024, our teams from Lenton Group and DPD China led the way, manning two booths that caught the eye of more than one visitor. DPD China put the spotlight on our export services from China, highlighting the invaluable support that dedicated local franchisees provide. At the same time, Your Cargo Contact (YCC) & Customs Clearance Ltd (CCL) emphasised how we are able to seamlessly bridge the gap between global markets and European consumers. And along with our colleagues from Asendia, our teams' expertise facilitated new strategic contacts.     🌍 How often do aficionados buy on foreign websites? Defined as online buyers who receive an average of 7 parcels per month, aficionado e-shoppers have shown themselves to be price-conscious, believing online shopping can help them save money. Aficionados are more likely to buy items from foreign sellers than regular e-shoppers: two-thirds have already made a purchase abroad. Their main reasons for shopping internationally remain, by far, product availability and access to better offers.     🚚 What are aficionado e-shoppers' preferences in terms of delivery? Despite a slight decrease in the last year, aficionado e-shoppers still favour home delivery above other options. Compared to regular e-shoppers, they are more likely to use almost all out-of-home delivery locations, with 46% now using parcel lockers or shops. They cite both convenience and flexibility as their main reasons for using OOH delivery methods. 80% of aficionados prioritise the delivery company's reputation and 67% said they found their last delivery experience to be easy.     🚚 Looking forward to CILF2024 From 23rd to 25th September, we will join our colleagues from Lenton Group and DPD China at the 18th Shenzhen International Logistics and Supply Chain Fair (CILF). The CILF attracts numerous well-known international firms with 2,000 exhibitors from over 50 countries & 260,000 visitors from over 80 states and regions. From Geopost, our Global Development Director Louise Herve and Group Strategic Account Manager Zhenghao CHEN will be onsite. Last year's attendees spoke highly of the exhibits, forum discussions, new technology releases and more.
