I have been a part of the Team8 village almost since its inception: through my responder days at Sygnia, then as a portfolio founder of Gem Security (acquired by Wiz). I'm more than grateful for the opportunity to join again this year! With the serenity and surrounded by the nature of 1440 Multiversity, there was no better opportunity to meet with old and new friends, exchange ideas and laugh with the smartest security leaders, but mostly - share tons of gratitude for your part in the Gem journey! Learn how Gem helped a SecOps team quickly respond to an attack that began with exploiting a vulnerable EKS application and proceeded to escalation of privileges via an EC2 instance IAM role. By leveraging unified context from CloudTrail logs, VPC Flow Logs, and forensic artifacts from the EC2 instance, the team was able to quickly triage the alert and contain the attack. https://lnkd.in/dCpUDXEn
