This cutting-edge technology is helping improve patient care today. 👇 Thanks to the latest in image-guided technology, clinicians can perform prostate artery embolization (PAE) with minimal invasion, prioritizing precision, speed, and quality of care. These advancements allow interventional radiologists to visualize and target specific areas in real-time, enabling clinicians to be more precise about where they deliver the therapy. This could ultimately lead to improved outcomes for patients. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men! The silver lining is that the 5-year survival rate in the U.S. for men diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer is greater than 99%. This #Movember, we’re highlighting the importance of men’s health and early prostate cancer detection. Our colleague Brien Ott recently faced a prostate cancer diagnosis. Thanks to his wife and his care team, Brien was able to get a diagnosis and treatment quickly. When he got the news that he was facing prostate cancer, his care team was able to act quickly through MRI imaging, a biopsy, and eventually treatment. With GE HealthCare’s portfolio of tools—from imaging to patient monitoring—Brien saw his life’s work come full circle and experience the true value of connected oncology care that empowers both patients and healthcare teams. Here’s to supporting the entirety of the patient journey and enabling early diagnosis when it matters most! #ProstateCancer #ProstateCancerAwareness #ConnectedCare

Medicine is continually evolving to empower clinicians to enhance patients' lives and enable earlier, more precise interventions and treatment plans. The rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) tools is helping to uncover hidden connections within vast amounts of clinical data, bridging the gap between patient needs and the care clinicians can deliver. Recently, Parminder Bhatia, Chief AI Officer at GE HealthCare spoke at the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe about the potential of AI Foundation models. By leveraging the emerging power of foundation models (FMs), the healthcare industry can develop advanced AI-driven solutions more efficiently. These versatile tools are set to revolutionize healthcare by: > Improving diagnostic accuracy 🩺 > Streamlining administrative tasks 🗂️ > Enhancing the delivery of timely and precise medical interventions ⏰ What are your thoughts on the role of AI in healthcare? #AI #DigitalHealth #HealthcareInnovation
