20 years is something to celebrate! Earlier this month, the marketing team gathered in Franconia, NH, to recognize three teammates who each celebrated 20 years at Garnet Hill. One of our cherished traditions for this milestone is gifting each person framed catalog covers from the month they started and the month of their 20th anniversary. We're lucky to have Eliza, Wendy, and Megan with us. Thanks for being a part of the Garnet Hill team! #garnethill #GHteam

Cashmere season has begun! To kick it off, last week we hosted an exclusive event at our Dedham store for select influencers and editors to experience Garnet Hill cashmere. Our womenswear team, Erin and Sarah, held a workshop on the cashmere development process where attendees could learn about the quality of fiber, kindness to animals, and craftsmanship of the final product. They also showed how to care for and style their cashmere pieces. #garnethill #GHlegacyplace

At Garnet Hill, our team is at the heart of everything we do. For this Team Member Spotlight, we sat down with Sheem, one of our womenswear designers. How long have you worked at Garnet Hill? I started working at Garnet Hill a year ago. Was there something (an experience, a person, a piece of clothing) that made you interested in going into fashion design? Growing up in the Philippines, we were pretty poor. My mother would sew scraps of old or used clothes so she could have something for me to wear. She’s the one who showed me that creating a garment for someone can hold so much love. What part of the design process do you like the most? Besides designing the garment, I enjoy collaborating with my cross-functional team. It takes a village to create one garment, and ensuring those bonds are strong is key to success. What’s the favorite product you’re designing right now? We're working on our Winter Holiday Collection for 2025, and one of my favorite items is the Waffle-Stitch Cashmere Turtleneck. It’s got truly elevated style, with the cashmere yarn and a heritage twist that really embodies the Garnet Hill DNA. #garnethill #GHteam

Where do designers go for inspiration? Our Home Team loves to browse vintage markets for bedding & decor ideas. Last week, our home leads Coralie and Millie — along with our president, Connie — visited the famous Brimfield Flea Market in Brimfield, MA. Coralie, our Director of Home Design said, "We love going to Brimfield for inspiration, but also for the adventure of it! The iconic Brimfield Flea Market happens for only a week, 3 times a year, and fills fields and fields with bric-a-brac and collectibles. We love searching for vintage hand-stitched quilts, hand-knotted rugs, and embroidered textiles to inspire our seasonal collections. Shopping at the market is always an exciting experience — we never know what treasures we might find or what stories we will hear from sellers and other shoppers."   Their finds this year? Antique accessories like trays & baskets to give the new Garnet Hill store in Dedham, MA a touch of the past. #garnethill #GHteam #brimfieldfleamarket #GHlegacyplace
