We are honored that on July 11, 2024, Steve Lindsey, CEO of Garden Spot Communities, and Scott Miller, CMO of Garden Spot Communities, will speak at the Mid-Atlantic Intergenerational Conference. Steve Lindsey will give Keynote remarks on "Breaking barriers, building bridges: the power of intergenerational connections." He will be discussing breaking down barriers to transcend age. Scott Miller will lead a session on "Lasting impact through shared wisdom—lessons learned from twenty-two years of intergenerational initiatives at Garden Spot Village." During this time, he will discuss the wisdom we can learn from older adults and youth in our ever-changing world. Last Saturday, Garden Spot Village hosted a summer fair, bringing together team members, residents and the children in their lives for a day of joy and connection. Despite the heat in Lancaster County, refreshing watermelon and popsicles kept everyone cool and cheerful. It is always a privilege to witness intergenerational connections flourishing, with children engaging with their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and family friends. The excitement was all around as everyone enjoyed a magic show, face painting, a reptile show from Refreshing Mountain and much more.
