June 1st is National Game Show Day! It’s a day when one of the oldest forms of shows on TV is honored and celebrated. The first television game show, Spelling Bee, aired on BBC television on May 31, 1938. The 15-minute show was based on a radio format adapted from US school spelling bee competitions. Happy 86th birthday to Game Shows! GSA is proud to have been part of this amazing industry for the past 28 years.
