About us
Gage Zero works with owners and operators to provide affordable and scalable solutions for the electrification of commercial fleets across the country. Fleet owners have many motivations to electrify their operations, including simultaneously reducing expenses and emissions from transportation. Rising fossil fuel and maintenance costs, the lack of electrical infrastructure and increasing environmental pressures mean that fleets need strategically located, purpose-built programs to start electrifying their vehicles and operations today.

Two years after the Emancipation Proclamation had taken effect, on June 19, 1865, almost 2,000 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas and announced that 250,000 enslaved black people in the state were free by executive decree. The newly freed Texans called this day "Juneteenth." To achieve #zeroemissions from the transportation sector, we need the whole ecosystem to work together. While we are focused on the medium- and heavy-duty sectors, we commend California Energy Commission and Caltrans for the first round of #NEVI program awards that will help build passenger #EVcharging throughout California. 👊🏽
⚡ Today California Energy Commission approved an interagency agreement with Caltrans to provide $384M for the #NEVI program to enable the build out of fast #electricvehicle charging 🔌 stations on #transportation corridors throughout California. This funding 💰 will help California meet our goals for a #zeroemission transportation future. This would not be possible without the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) signed into law by President Biden in November 2021.
