About us
Why is it that beans, one of the healthiest proteins and a staple food in the diets of the world's longest-living populations, are not as widely consumed in the US as they are in my home country, Ecuador? The answer became clear to me after a couple years of living in the fast-paced environment of the US: time, or rather, the lack of it. This realization led me to ponder a second question: How could I make beans a convenient yet nutritious option for breakfast or snacks? After several months of experimentation, and with a little help from my dog, who became a pancake-obssesed dog during our many recipe trials, we cracked the code: beans in the form of pancakes and waffle.
