Protecting homes, families, and communities from wildfire disaster.

About us

Through years of research and development, Frontline Wildfire Defense has developed a completely unique approach to wildfire protection, offering first-line defense to protect property against the damaging effects of wildfire. Frontline Wildfire Defense is a remote fire department capable of providing structure protection in locations and at times when firefighters cannot. Based in Jackson Hole, WY, we monitor active wildfires throughout the western United States, and through the patent-pending technology that we have developed, we can activate our class A foam, exterior fire sprinkler systems and remotely protect individual homes and entire neighborhoods anywhere. The Frontline Wildfire Defense System is a revolutionary approach to protecting private property from wildfire. Frontline can be used by homeowners, municipalities, and insurance companies to save homes.

    • Job at Frontline Wildfire Defense
  • From Canada’s Success to Frontline’s Future Canadian firefighters have used portable sprinkler systems for decades to protect structures from wildfires, creating wet barriers that significantly reduce the risk of ignition. These systems are manually deployed in real-time to respond to active wildfires. Canadian firefighters call it “structural protection.” The success of these systems is well documented. During the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire, portable sprinklers saved numerous buildings, and in the Okanagan Valley, sprinklers have regularly saved vineyards and homes. While the US is still getting comfortable with wildfire sprinklers, Canada has long known their value. Frontline builds on this success with digitally connected, permanently installed systems that can be remotely activated. This eliminates manual setup to allow comprehensive defense at scale. Firefighters in British Columbia are using sprinklers to protect the historic town of Barkerville. Check out their structural protection setup efforts in the video below. www.frontlinewildfire.com https://lnkd.in/gCj3bApF #sprinklers #wildfire #structureprotection #fire

  • Frontline Systems Shine in a Fiery 2024 The 2024 wildfire season has already been severe, with significant fires in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and western Canada. The Park Fire in California has burned over 380,000 acres, and Oregon’s Durkee Fire has scorched over 280,000 acres. In Alberta, huge wildfires have destroyed up to half of the historic town of Jasper, forcing 25,000 people to evacuate. Our thoughts are with the firefighters and residents impacted by fires this year, and we are heartbroken over the significant structure loss in the historic Canadian town of Jasper. Under the stress of significant fire activity, Frontline systems have been working hard to protect homeowners. The picture below shows a Frontline system pre-wetting a home in Northern California, with smoke from an active fire visible in the background. So far in 2024, we have had 23 Frontline systems auto-activate in response to fires identified by Frontline’s software platform. In total, we have seen hundreds of system activations in 2024, either from auto-activation or proactive activation through the Frontline app. There have been zero Frontline homes lost to wildfire. Ever. https://lnkd.in/dQHKPqfP #wildfire #fire #roofsprinkler #parkfire #durkeefire #frontline #jasper

This video showcases the impressive capabilities of a spray head in action. The Frontline Wildfire Defense System effectively creates a 50-foot defensible space by pumping out water and fire retardant, safeguarding both the structure and surrounding area. The rotor head positioned on the roof propels the water and fire retardant high into the trees near the building, while the eve sprays provide continuous coverage on the ground below, ensuring thorough protection. SoCal Wildfire Defense can protect your home or other structures as well!!! #WildfireDefense #FireSafety #SprayHead #FrontlineDefense #SafetyFirst

Excited to share how the Frontline Wildfire Defense System can adapt to any property's infrastructure, offering flexible and diverse capabilities for structure protection. As an installer, I find it fascinating how this system efficiently delivers water and fire retardant to safeguard buildings. The system remains operational even during power outages, thanks to backup generators, solar panels, and batteries commonly found in homes. Utilizing various water storage options like tanks, pools, and cisterns, along with municipal resources, this system ensures preparedness well in advance of approaching wildfires. #WildfireDefense #PropertyProtection #FireSafety 🌲🔥
