Congratulations to the team at PT Freeport Indonesia on completing construction of our smelter in Manyar, Gresik, Indonesia with the capacity to process approximately 1.7 million metric tons of copper concentrate per year. The inauguration marks a new chapter in the government's efforts to increase the value of Indonesia's natural resources.    Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo visited the smelter this week to inaugurate the start of production. Richard Adkerson, Chairman of the Board and Kathleen Quirk, President and CEO, accompanied the President and congratulated the team on their hard work that led to completion of this project.
