Our team had the pleasure of hosting interns from the Ohio International Intern Program (TOP) for an insightful tour of the Franklin Park Conservatory. Leading the group was Shane Fennelly, our dedicated international student intern, who excelled in guiding 44 interns from 19 different countries through our gardens.

Our President and CEO, Bruce Harkey, recently welcomed the Folsom Chamber of Commerce, Folsom Economic Development Corporation and Folsom Tourism Bureau at the Conservatory. This group of 40 community and business leaders from Folsom and El Dorado, California were on an information gathering mission on how to best connect urban and rural areas. As part of their study, they were very interested in visiting Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens to learn more about our organization and what we do. Joe Gagliardi, President and CEO of Choose Folsom, said, “As part of our study, we are very interested in Franklin Park Conservatory as we look to create a regional park in Folsom. We think the Conservatory is an incredible example.” #franklinparkconservatory
