Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, faces a serious threat. Items from the tower’s collection have been sold without the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy's approval, violating the easement protections that safeguard this architectural treasure. The items were designed by Wright specifically for Price Tower, his tallest habitable design ever to be built. The Conservancy is actively working to ensure these items are returned and that no further sales occur. Congratulations to everyone involved in securing inscription of the 26th US site on the UNESCO World Heritage List: the Historic Moravian Bethlehem District in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania! Much like "The 20th-Century Architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright," inscribed in 2019 after a years-long effort led by the Conservancy, this designation spans multiple structures tied to a specific historical legacy - but in this case, across several different countries!
