Swinging for a Cause: Supporting Veterans and Alzheimer's Care in Ashtabula County! Foundations Health Solutions raised $7,000 at our charity golf outing to benefit the Ashtabula MC Veterans Club and the Foundations Alzheimer's Walk Team in Ashtabula County. These funds will provide crucial assistance to veterans in need and support efforts in Alzheimer's research and care. The excitement and pride in being able to make such a significant contribution to the community are palpable, and the team is already looking forward to next year's event. Foundations Health is committed to continuing its support for local causes and making a positive impact in Ashtabula County.

Today, I hung out with one of our awesome Foundations Health Solutions nursing homes as we enjoyed their new Virtual Reality system! We jammed out with light sabers, used swords to slice fruit in Fruit Ninja, and got to be inside some 360 degree interactive movies. I had a blast with some super cool residents and teammates and loved seeing the joy in each of their faces. Good times!

Supporting our employees and their families is at the heart of our mission. Our Back-to-School Backpack Giveaways are a true reflection of our Culture of Care, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, employees, and the community. Seeing the joy on our staff's children's faces as they received their customized backpacks and school supplies was priceless. Here's to a fantastic school year ahead for all the little ones!

Our Foundations Health Solutions teammates in Baltic, OH took residents to “The Farm” in Walnut Creek for a 1 hour wagon ride where you can pet and feed many different animals like cows, pigs, goats, horses, donkeys, giraffes, bison, water buffalo, macaw birds, ostriches, emus, kangaroos, llamas, camels, and zebras. That’s Foundations and that’s how Oak Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center does activities on a regular basis. Wonderful people doing great things with beautiful residents. 🌟 What a Day! 🌟 Our team organized a fantastic facility-wide 'Family Reunion' with six local facilities. Our first Foundations Family Reunion was filled with games, music, food, and new friendships. Residents shared laughs and stories while enjoying a welcoming atmosphere. 😊 A big shout-out to Anita and Deangelo for the delicious lunch from our food truck, Defined By Culture. And a huge thank you to the teams from Golden Years, Terrace View Gardens, The Home at Hearthstone, Veranda Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation, Glen Meadows, and Home at Taylor's Pointe for putting this all together. ❤️ We can't wait for the next reunion! 🙌 #CultureOfCare #DefinedByCulture

What does it truly mean to live a life of care? 🤔 To find the answer, look no further than Alice Anderson! Alice started working at Country View of Sunbury, a Foundations facility, in 1987 as an STNA. She has always been wonderful with our residents; and especially had the heart for our memory care units. Alice worked our memory care units for years, connecting with the residents on a level most are not able to achieve. Her patience, compassion, and understanding set her apart, making her an Aide that no one could forget. Alice gave 37 years of care at Country View, and we all will miss seeing her every day in the halls. But despite her retirement, Alice can still be found taking several trips a week to visit staff and residents. She says Country View is her 'home away from home' and everyone is family! Thank you, Alice, for your many years of service and showing us what our culture of care truly stands for! ❤️ #CultureOfCare

A nursing home rave with black lights, glowing glasses, fake ids, and a room filled with smiles and music to dance to? That’s how we roll! Our Foundations Health Solutions work hard every day to bring our residents the absolute best activities! Each week we share with each other our ideas, plans, and highlights so we can inspire each other to give our residents and teammates the absolute best experience. Amazing stuff!

What do you do when a region SOARS PAST EXPECTATIONS? Here at Foundations, we celebrate with a 'Family Feud!' 🙌 After achieving over 96% occupancy in the region, teams from Glen Meadows, Taylor's Pointe, Home at Hearthstone, Veranda Gardens, Golden Years, and Terrace View Gardens met to face off in games of Family Feud. We then drew tickets from the crowd to enter the 'Cash Cube' and grab as much cash as you can hold! 💸 Congratulations to 'V is for Veranda' for winning the contest and the 'Terrace View Terminators' for placing second. And congratulations to everyone for such a big milestone! ❤️

This is why we do what we do—bringing smiles to our residents' faces. Recently, we had the honor of fulfilling Robert Graham's final wish of reconnecting with cows. The parking lot at Jefferson Healthcare Center turned into a mini-farm, bringing joy to Robert and the other residents.
