📢 Last chance to vote for our project with Cabrillo College for this year’s Solar Builder Magazine Project of the Year Awards! In addition to helping the College reduce its carbon footprint and save millions in energy costs, this 3.4MW #solarenergy storage project represents the impact of the College’s education on career advancement with its alumni Brendan Moran, Senior Project Manager at ForeFront Power, overseeing project construction.    Brendan spent 2 years of his higher education journey at Cabrillo College, gaining valuable skills that would advance his career and ultimately lead him to ForeFront Power. Managing this project gave him the opportunity to make a lasting impact in his local community where he has even become a mentor to a neighbor attending Cabrillo College as an engineering student. Working with Cabrillo College, from early conceptual designs to a fully operational system, has been a rewarding, full-circle experience for Brendan.    Please cast your final votes for this project ahead of the deadline this Friday, Oct. 11! You can vote via the link in the comments below ⬇️

We teamed up with Bakersfield College, part of Kern Community College District, to develop a 4 MW #solarenergy portfolio including solar canopies, solar ground mounts, battery storage, and EV charging stations across 3 sites. For Bakersfield City, know for its high levels of air pollution, this #cleanenergy portfolio represents a net positive for the region’s air quality by helping the College avoid over 3,800 tons of carbon emission annually. Also as part of our partnership with Kern CCD, ForeFront Power is supporting STEM education at Bakersfield College by funding SEI Climate Corps fellowships and new renewable energy curriculum for students. Together we're helping prepare the next generation of the renewable energy workforce. Our #solar project with Cabrillo College is a finalist for the 2024 Solar Builder Magazine Project of the Year Awards! The 3.4MW solar energy storage portfolio will help the College avoid emitting 3,000 metric tons of CO2 each year while making a large contribution to local resiliency.    We are especially proud that one of our employees is an alumnus of the college and acted as project manager on this project.
