82 and sunny? Sign us up! This weekend at 🌎 Global Day for the Red River Market we were joined by our friends at Marvin who shared the gift of yellow roses with our community! Representing a workforce that speaks 32 languages, Marvin has a historical commitment to making Global Day possible at the Market. “At Marvin, we work to imagine and create better ways of living in everything we do. We support the Red River Market as we believe they are doing just that when it comes to supporting our local community. With their focus on food access, small business vendors and sustainability: we are proud to partner with such an amazing organization!" - Cairn Reisch, CVA In celebration of this day our team featured flags from across the world on Broadway, booked performers for: Chinese Heritage Dancing, Bagpipes, Kurdish Dancing and more! Hope we'll see you this weekend for Fall Fest Day 🍁

Have you visited the Red River Market this year? You’ve probably seen Fargo Fungi! 🍄 Chris Wilkes cultivates nearly 60 pounds of mushrooms weekly in his garage, bringing fresh, locally-grown fungi to his booth every weekend at the market. We’re proud to provide a space where aspiring entrepreneurs like Chris can connect with the community and share their passions. Want to learn more about Fargo Fungi? Check out Chris's recent interview with Kevin Wallevand here: https://lnkd.in/gptwg6Ms 🌱✨

This weekend's Growers Day at the Red River Market was brought to you by a partnership between NSF ENGINES: North Dakota Advanced Agriculture Technology Engine and Grand Farm! The Red River Market is proud to create a platform for ND MN growers to share their local produce with the community. Our growers exist at the heart of the market- it can take a full year of planning from market farmers to reach the final product that is the produce in your homes. Grateful for partners who believe in the power of agriculture, local food, and community. You can learn more about each of their organizations here- FARMS: https://lnkd.in/gYTKwMAP Grand Farm: https://grandfarm.com/

This weekend's Red River Market was brought to you by a very special partner of Folkways- the Livewire Team! They are an essential aspect to making every single one of our events happen. They help us: - Navigate the intricacies of powering all of our hot food vendors. - Make our 150 annual performing groups sound just stellar. - Work right alongside us for every set-up and tear-down. So much more... We're grateful to them for helping us make this world class experience happen every week- we're pretty lucky to have this level of execution here in Fargo. Cheers to the Livewire team!
