Friend of Focusing Forward and Co-Founder and CEO of Kith Kin, Jill Michal, shared some big news recently, and we want to pass it along to our followers! We've been following their journey closely for a while now and we're so excited to see this tool out in the world. We highly recommend checking out the website and mobile app (and yes, we did check it out for ourselves). Several of our own team members live with multiple chronic medical conditions that each require their own arsenal of doctors, medications, follow-up visits, regular scans... and it can be a LOT to keep track of! One such team member spent some time inside the platform. She said that she was really impressed by how comprehensive it is, but still very easy to navigate. Her takeaway was that the Kith Kin resource would be enormously helpful to... well, everyone really. Whether your medical records file overflows or you simply want to stay on top of your health goals, it's worth trying it out. Here's what's on James Neighbors 's bookshelf! 📚 The End of the World Is Just the Beginning - Mapping the Collapse of Globalization (what a mouthful!) Jim does acknowledge that it's a bit of a grim one, but he also finds it to be insightful and illuminating. From the title, you might think it would only touch on the economics of globalization, which it does, but it also explores the effects of a rapidly declining global population. The author weaves these themes together to portray a wildly different future; a future that will unwind the glory days of international trade and commerce as it's been enjoyed for the last half decade or so. He shows how this breakdown is already occurring by digging into current events such as piracy attacks on cargo routes and Putin's lust for land (which might be a cover for an even darker motive) Though this might not be your cozy new bedtime read, Jim recommends it as a "Great read".
