🌟 Exciting News from CES! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce the successful startup of Pump Station 0639 for the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department. Under our Local Pump Station Continuing Services Design Contract, CES completed the civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural designs for this critical project. The conversion of the existing wet well/dry well type station into a submersible station marks a significant upgrade, enhancing the reliability, operability, efficiency, resiliency, and safety of PS 0639 while extending its useful life. The startup protocol was a success thanks to the collaborative efforts of WASD’s Operations & Pump Station division, and our partners at Flygt US from Xylem, who provided the pumps. To close out the project, we will remove the bypass and certify the station. Flygt-Dallas installed a new slim line propeller pump at a Dallas Water Utilities Purification Plant. This new unit will replace an old Flygt pump dating back to 1999. As Service Techs, we don't always get to hear how much the customer enjoys their new piece of equipment after we install it. (We'll hear about it if it doesn't work like expected.) Today I got the opportunity to ask a customer how he likes the new Flygt 3171 pumps that we had installed 15 months ago. I never hesitate to ask a customer about their experience with a Flygt US product. It's almost a guarantee that they are happy with the product. This customer was no different! He loves them and is impressed with how quiet they are! If a problem does arise, you can be assured that Electric Pump, Inc. will stand behind any product we sell.
