Quibim, an expert in AI #healthcare solutions, is contributing to the #FLUTEproject with their QP-Prostate® tool. This AI-powered solution increases #diagnosis accuracy by automatically evaluating #imaging quality, segmenting the prostate gland, and identifying suspicious lesions. Based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), QP-Prostate® segments the prostate's three key subregions and highlights regions suspicious for clinically significant #prostatecancer (csPCa). Recently, Carla Lázaro from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya participated in a #DigitalCampus for teenagers, where she led an engaging workshop on AI and data science. This event was organized to introduce new technologies to rural areas, underscoring our commitment to spreading knowledge and building trust in AI applications in healthcare. The workshop took place in the small village of Les Coves de Vinromà and was attended by around 23 enthusiastic children, aged between 8 and 15 years. Carla took this opportunity to explain the FLUTE project, highlighting our mission and the importance of AI in revolutionizing #healthcare.
