About us
FlexSchool is the learning community for gifted and twice-exceptional learners from grades 5 through 12, with a curriculum for post-graduate students as well. If traditional school environments have not been a good fit for your student, please join us to learn about our philosophy of embracing differences and meeting students where they are. We accept students gifted in one or more areas, including those who have challenges ranging from dyslexia to ADHD to ASD to social anxiety. We are a strength-based program, focused on helping students develop their gifts and talents with the assistance of our expert educators.

It’s the rare professional development session that results in something you want to hang on your wall. I was genuinely moved by Ben Lacina’s strand on arts integration and taking risks at UConn Neag School of Education’s Confratute 2024. #confratute2024

Look who Jacqueline Parr Byrne and Lynne Henwood found at Confratute 46 🤩 We are so pleased to share that Jacqui, Lynne, and Cloud Campus faculty member Sarah LeMieux each received the 2eASD grant scholarship to attend Confratute at UCONN this summer, based on their unique proposals to create programming for 2e students using strength-based pedagogy! Confratute, hosted by the Renzulli Center for Creativity, Gifted Education, and Talent Development at the University of Connecticut, is the preeminent professional learning conference for gifted and 2e education. This year, gifted education leaders Dr. Susan Baum, Dr. Sally Reis, and others inspired educators from all over the country with proven strategies for strength-based engagement and enrichment learning for gifted and talented students.
