Thank you, Joseph, our newest community hero, for raising money to support our Food Pantry! Joseph's lemonade stand created a buzz in his neighborhood when he announced he would donate the proceeds to Families in Transition. His family stopped by the Food Pantry earlier this week with $250, which will help purchase items such as milk, eggs, and coffee. Thank you – Joseph, brother Leo, and Gina, for squeezing all those lemons 🍋 The Families in Transition Food Pantry serves approximately 1,100 households each month—a 30% increase over last year. Every donation makes a difference! If you'd like to make a donation, visit our high-needs list for our most in-demand items: https://lnkd.in/eUyMWSvF

Thank you to our community partners, Realty ONE Group, for holding a Back-to-School supply drive this year! With their help, we can provide the children and families living in our housing, transitional living programs, and shelter everything they need to start the school year off right 🎒✏📒

Thank you to our community partners at Live Free Recovery Services for inviting us to their open house last week! Our team joined them for a tour of one of their newer facilities, a low-intensity residential program for women.

Meet some of our program and development teams! These folks are instrumental in running our shelters, housing, pantry, and raising funds to keep our doors open for our community members in need. Last week team members and leadership (not all pictured) toured three of our facilities to start prepping for the year ahead. Thank you, New Hampshire Housing, for your hard work and generous donation!
Throughout the month of August, New Hampshire Housing participated in a Back-to-School supply drive in support of our partner, Families in Transition! Our staff collectively donated 126 backpacks and over 1,000 items including pencils, headphones, water bottles, and countless folders and notebooks. A good mission attracts good people, but a good culture keeps them. I'm so proud to be a part of a team with the BEST people. 💛

Thank you to all the wonderful organizations and partners who came out to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the monthly Resource Fair held at our Adult Emergency Shelter at 199 Manchester St.! For two years, on the last Tuesday of every month, we welcome providers from the community to come offer support and services to those staying with us. It is a vital part of our commitment to meet people where they are and aid them on their journey to exit homelessness - we look forward to seeing you all next month and in the years to come!
