In light of the #SoapBoxDerby last week, we're featuring one of our employees who loves volunteering at the event, Trey! Having been with FirstEnergy for 10 years, Trey has experience in numerous areas within the company including a lines engineering designer and an environmental specialist. But Trey's favorite part about working for FirstEnergy is getting to give back to his community. "I love working for a company that provides such an important and necessary service to our community. FirstEnergy supports our communities and offers volunteer opportunities...I support tree planting efforts as well as helping to organize our local soap box derby race."

We recently received an Emergency Recovery Award from the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) in recognition of our outstanding response in restoring power to hundreds of thousands of customers in portions of our service areas following Winter Storms Finn and Gerri, which produced high winds, rain, ice and snow in January 2024.
