What a blast at our Shades & Shine Homecoming Celebration with Fashion & Beauty Expert and Howard alumna Blake Newby! We kicked off Howard University’s Homecoming Weekend at our Georgetown location with an evening of shopping, music, glam, and treats from Black-owned and Howard alumni businesses. Special thanks to First and Last PR, a women and minority-owned agency, for bringing it all together. Howard alumna DJ Brooks W., aka DJ Soul Sugar Joint, set the mood with her music. Chef Anthony Thomas provided hors d'oeuvres, Mocktail Club served drinks, and Everybody Water supplied sustainable water.
