Don’t forget to contribute to the Gr8 Paper Push! For the Tenth year, WISH-TV and your Credit Union are coming together to support Teachers’ Treasures, a free supply store for educators, by accepting donations of school supplies at our branches or monetary donations online. Annually, teachers spend about $1,000 of their personal funds on school supplies for their classroom. Now, it’s our time to support them. Visit wishtv.com/paper to learn more or donate!

Our Credit Union is respected locally and recognized globally. This week, I had the privilege of speaking on a panel at the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) conference in Boston on "Valuing Global Credit Union Engagement." It was an honor to share the stage with industry leaders Billy Doyle from Dundalk Credit Union and Mike Reuter, CFRE, CUDE from the World Foundation for Credit Unions, moderated by J. Kevin Ryan, board member of the World Foundation of Credit Unions. Our discussion emphasized the importance of elevating our credit union brand to reflect global engagement. By learning from credit unions worldwide, we can share tactics and successes that come together to grow our industry’s reputation on a larger stage. We also focused on the significance of staff and board education. Exposure to global best practices expands our team's knowledge and helps us continue to be better, faster, and easier places to bank. Lastly, we discussed how a strong, values-led culture and purpose can attract and retain top talent, driving our mission both locally and globally. Telling Financial Center's story is one of the best parts of my job and I appreciate the opportunity to be on the same stage with these legends. #WCUC2024

Each year, teachers spend an average of about $1,000 of their own money on school supplies to support students who attend classes without the needed materials. From now until August 1, drop school supplies off at any of our locations or visit wishtv.com/paper to donate!
