I'm extremely grateful to the Center for NYC Neighborhoods CNYCN, Rebuild by Design and the team at #rainproofnyc for the opportunity to take part in the cities plans to make our communities more resilient to climate change and particularly heavy rainfall. I look forward to the cities response to our proposal. Myself and Fifth Avenue Committee will continue to advocate for positive change for New Yorkers.

Fifth Avenue Committee thanks the New York City Council, Speaker Adrienne Adams, the Progressive Caucus, and Mayor Adams for agreeing to include $2 billion in much-needed capital funding to support affordable housing. Bold leadership coupled with equally bold investment is what is needed to ensure that every New Yorker has a home they can afford. Fifth Avenue Committee is a proud member of the Homes Now, Homes for Generations Coalition who successfully advocated for this critical funding.
