As we reach the midpoint of the year, we are thrilled to highlight the incredible accomplishments of our Women's Business Resource Group at Federal Home Loan Bank Des Moines! 🎉 So far this year, the group has: 👉 Volunteered with DRESS FOR SUCCESS DES MOINES, a not-for-profit organization that offers services to help women enter the workforce and stay employed 👉 Created a women’s connection pairing program to create support, encouragement, professional development, collaboration and mutual growth 👉Celebrated #WomensHistoryMonth, honoring the contributions of women throughout history We are immensely proud of everything our Women's Business Resource Group has achieved so far. Today is ✨Member Monday✨ and we are excited to showcase the incredible impact from 35 members who helped award over $11.6 million throughout North Dakota in Member Impact Fund matching grants this year.

We're thrilled to be a part of the Greater Des Moines Partnership #OutToLunch event each year! It's an amazing opportunity for Downtown DSM employees, residents, and visitors to come together in a vibrant outdoor setting and enjoy delicious food from local food trucks. This year, on June 26th, we had the pleasure of hosting: 🍝 Hotel Luna Food Truck 🍦 Whip Delight 🍍Hawaiian Grill Food Truck 🍔 Iowa's Classic Concessions 🌮 Roadside Tacos 🍖 All The Smoke Events like these are more than just lunch breaks – they're about community, connection, and enjoying the best of what #DowntownDSM has to offer.

I had the great privilege to tour Blaine Manor apartments recently. A housing project for low-income seniors in Hailey, ID. This project developed by ARCH COMMUNITY HOUSING TRUST INC was a recipient of an affordable housing grant from Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines in partnership with Wells Fargo and is a great example the benefit of FHLBanks working with local lenders to support affordable housing. #FHLBanks #AffordableHousing

🏆Federal Home Loan Bank Des Moines has been participating in the #DesMoinesCorporateGames, a summer-long event that fosters teamwork, company pride and corporate wellness through healthy competition. June was full of winning moments including 🥇1st place in Women’s 3x3 Basketball, Dodgeball and Track and Field. Teamwork helped secure 🥈2nd place in Sand Volleyball, 🥉3rd place in Pickleball for both Men and Women and 4th place in Men's Basketball! 🌟 Additionally, 42 of our amazing employees participated in the Fitness Walk at Principal Park. We couldn't be prouder of all our team members who took part in these events. The connections and teamwork this competition brings are invaluable. Go team FHLB Des Moines!

Today's ✨Member Monday✨, where we are highlighting all of the wonderful Member Impact Fund check presentations across Montana communities. Members utilized $3 to $1 matching grants to award nearly $7.5 million for affordable housing and community development initiatives in Montana this year.

Our Young Professionals Business Resource Group (BRG) provides opportunities for networking, volunteering and building relationships across the Bank and in our communities. A recent "Coffee Connect" with local small business, Vintage Road Coffee Co. was the perfect pick-me-up before #rockingthehairnet at MEALS FROM THE HEARTLAND.
