Molecular Oncology is proud to be an affiliate journal of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and have therefore aligned a new article collection with the focus of the conference: Cancer Geneomics, Multiomics, and Computational Biology that took place on 30 Apr – 2 May. Contribute your knowledge and latest research in fields including single cell and spatial analysis of cancers, and #cancer immune #genomics, to be featured in the new collection and showcased to the global #cancerresearch community. Although this is a late post, I want to thank the HFP organizers for hosting such an insightful workshop on host and #fungal pathogen interactions during the FEBS 2024 Advanced Course held from May 18-24, 2024 in La Colle-sur-Loup, France. The projects presented were very interesting, up-to-date, and relevant. The conference inspired me to further my own work. I was able to discuss my preliminary results and received valuable feedback, which was beneficial for my research. I am very grateful to the organizers for selecting me to receive the Federation of European Microbiological Societies Young Scientist Award grant, which made my participation possible, and to HCEMM / Hungarian Centre of Excellence for Molecular Medicine for covering all of my necessary expenses. I also want to thank my supervisor, Prof. Attila Gácser, for sending me to conferences like this. I am really looking forward to see my progress on my research and get the chance to present it on this conference again. ✨
