My high school alma mater gifted me with a special opportunity to come back to the Forest and help tell a story that helped change my life and many others. After a rough season creatively and as a business owner, creating this short celebrating the 50th reunion of Garrison’s first Black alumnae made space for beautiful reflection on my why as a storyteller and filmmaker. It was perfect reset and grounding on why I tell these stories. Greta and Shelia, thank you for opening and walking through those doors for so many to come behind you. Garrison Forest School, thank you for helping me find and learn my voice is important at such a young age. To Fearless Video Productions and our amazing creative collaborators, thank you for nurturing this love letter to these trailblazers and Black Garrison girls. I am really proud of this one. NEW WORK*** Fearless Video had the privilege of sharing the story of two trailblazing women at the Garrison Forest School in celebration of their legacy and impact on the school years later at their 50th Reunion. Check out this sneak peak of Greta and Shelia's story!

This was such a fun project to work with. I'm appreciative to be able to talk about my political era. Having storytellers that are representative of the community is so important to have both in front and behind the camera. We know when messaging is tone deaf but when someone is willing to challenge and push pack and advocate for the issue the community needs to hear, that's where authentic storytelling thrives. That's why I have asserted myself as a short-form director and co-founded Fearless Video Productions. We were able to create sincere stories with the VP and now we are committed to do the same with other clients, organizations, campaigns and intentional companies.
