Meet your kitchen’s new bestie! Farmer Foodie ™ makes deliciously memorable Cashew Parm ™ products that are free from dairy and gluten. We’re a woman-owned, plant-powered, and sustainable vegan cheese company reimagining and elevating the shelf-stable cheese aisle. Our Parm products act as cheesy toppings that can conveniently be sprinkled on all of your favorite dishes or they can be blended with hot water into creamy sauces and dips in under 2 minutes. Golden Chedda is described as having a peppery umami punch. Our founder, Alison Elliott, is a plant-forward recipe and product developer. She created Farmer Foodie as her sustainable food blog in 2020 while she was the Education Director at McEnroe Organic Farm. From 2020 to 2022, Ali earned her M.B.A. in Social Impact and M.A. in Sustainable International Development because she knew she wanted to take her love for healthy recipe development (now climatecomfortfood.com with over 200 original recipes) to the next level by becoming a full-time entrepreneur. Since inception, we’ve received positive sales traction and consumer response at farmers markets, industry events, specialty stores, cafes, and online. We’re early movers trademarking the “Cashew Parm” category with products that outcompete on flavor and nutrition. Farmer Foodie values the triple bottom line: people, planet, product, and puts sustainability at the forefront of all business decisions. We’re members of 1% for the Planet and we plan to become plastic neutral certified. We use premium organic and Fairtrade ingredients, ensuring our products are delicious, environmentally responsible, and naturally pure.
