Our Operations team was feeling celebratory after finishing the first night of scanning for a new project we are partnering on with Suffolk Construction in New York state! Traffic management was in place to ensure everyone was safe and after a successful scan, the team toasted with delicious treats. We are thrilled to be working with Suffolk on another project and #solvingtheunderground for more communities in New York and beyond. Suffolk Technologies

"The unknown of the underground creates massive challenges for construction teams – from potentially dangerous utility strikes early in the build, to costly, unplanned rerouting work along the way or unstable foundations in the future. A powerful combination of advanced sensors, 3D imaging, and AI technologies can now create detailed digital twins of the underground landscape that can scale to meet changing needs so project leaders can see the full picture, including what lies beneath the surface, and properly plan ahead."-Jeremy Suard for Intelligent Build.tech. Thank you for the feature, Intelligent Build team! Digital twins are changing the game in many industries including construction, and we are proud to be leading that effort. check out the link below to read Jeremy's full commentary on how digital twins are changing construction for the better!
In our featured cover story this month, explore how Trevor Payne MSc FIHEEM FIWFM, Director of Estates at the University of Birmingham, leads innovation with Schneider Electric’s Smart Building technologies. Payne discusses their impact on campus efficiency, sustainability, and their benefits for students, staff, and the broader community. How can digital twins revolutionise real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance in construction? In this month's Editor's Question feature, experts from Egnyte, Exodigo, Trimble Inc., and Brickeye provide their insights. We also hear from Andrea Sorri, Segment Development Manager of Smart Cities, EMEA at Axis Communications, on the transformative potential of Smart Cities. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our client days in London and Paris! It was great to see some familiar faces and meet new people as well who are interested in #solvingtheunderground in their communities. Let's get to work!

A good session with Trevor Moore MCinstCES and Aurelia Setton from Exodigo today exploring the future of subsurface mapping, really interesting to hear the support from across the room for more standardisation and regulation/mandation of data sharing to enable better mapping and management of the subsurface. And great to hear the Crossrail story again from Simon Wright OBE. New connections made with National Grid, Colas Rail and Utility Mapping Group UK Ltd - really interested to see where this is going next and how we can join up with AtkinsRéalis. I certainly like their mission: solving the underground!
