ECA was delighted to be part of MAD Event Management LLC's Sustainable Events Summit earlier this week at the Javits Center in New York City. As part of #ClimateWeekNYC, this event was supported by leading industry associations including UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, JMIC Joint Meetings Industry Council, SISO - Society of Independent Show Organisers, International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), and the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association. ECA's Tommy Goodwin previewed the post-election climate and sustainability policy landscape and how it might impact the industry next year. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲: Regardless of who wins in November, ECA continues to urge the business events industry to double down on its sustainability efforts to ensure that we maintain control of our collective path to Net Zero. Congratulations to Martha (Scheidegger) Donato and Marty Glynn for organizing such a successful convening on this important topic. #SustainableEventsSummit
