His journey was marked by unimaginable pain—losing friends, family, and missed opportunities for education and employment. He found himself homeless, shattered, and yearning for a solution to his deepest struggles. Then, just a month ago, Quenten discovered ETHAN HEALTH—and it changed his life forever. In his own words: "Anything is Possible with Recovery! My name is Quenten, I am twenty-one years old. I have suffered with addiction for the past six years of my life and during my addiction I suffered more pain and chaos than you could imagine. I lost friends, family, chances to get my GED and go to college, job opportunities. My addiction left me homeless, broken, and crying myself to sleep every night, dreaming that I would find the magic formula that could solve my ultimate problem, 'myself,' but a month after I found ETHAN HEALTH, and finding this place changed my LIFE!!! They accepted me for me, they looked at me with love and smiles. This place helped me find God, Sobriety, Hope, but most importantly, Myself. They have been helping me find places to get my GED, find community colleges for after I get my last math credit. This place saved my life. 🌿 A Day of Healing and Learning at Tincher Farms 🌿 Last Thursday, we embarked on a memorable journey at Tincher Farm in Waco, KY, combining our Table event with an outreach excursion. Our clients were treated to a serene day in the countryside, immersing themselves in the rhythms of life on a beef cattle farm. The day was filled with enriching experiences: from interacting with goats and cows to grooming horses and feeding them carrots. The 50-acre farm provided a picturesque backdrop for learning, healing, and moments of pure joy. Our group of 12 attendees (comprising 3 women and 9 men, aged 26-62) enjoyed delicious take-out pizza for lunch, adding to the camaraderie and shared experience of the day. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Tincher Family for hosting us and making this day possible. Their hospitality and the farm's natural beauty created a perfect environment for our clients to unwind, reflect, and connect with nature. Special thanks also go to Madison County Health Department for their onsite services and Kentucky Legal Aid for their valuable assistance. As part of our commitment to community care and addiction recovery, we distributed essential hygiene items to those in need, further enhancing the impact of our visit. The church was deeply grateful for their assistance, and soon, the community will benefit from the fresh vegetables produced through their efforts.
