👩🚀 Even electronic waste recycling (e-waste) is moving to the metaverse! Yes, virtual reality is not just for playing or working; it's also for taking care of our planet ♻️ In the metaverse, companies can create simulations like a recycling lab in a virtual world 🚀 You can try new techniques without messing up anything in the real world. 🌍 Moreover, through these platforms, we can educate about recycling. For example, we can conduct virtual recycling workshops with people from all over the world. We could even hold virtual recycling contests! The opportunities are endless and quite wild! ☝🏻 But we need to be careful. The metaverse consumes a lot of energy to keep everything running. If that energy doesn't come from renewable sources, we could be causing more problems than solutions 🌱 The future of e-waste recycling is more exciting (and fun) than ever! ♻️ #metaverse #ewasterecycling #innovation #sustainability

We are a social enterprise whose primary goal is to recycle old technology to set up computer labs for kids, worldwide.
About us
We transform your organization’s legacy equipment, excess inventory, and technology surplus into catalysts for change. THE PROBLEM Many organizations have a plan in place to dispose of their old equipment. However, most of them fail to recognize the incredible opportunity that is hidden in that process to truly maximize its benefit; one that goes beyond purely the bottom line and has a positive impact in the company’s image, culture, metrics, social and environmental responsibility. THE SOLUTION We find creative ways to monetize and generate revenue on most of the inbound material we receive. Afterward, a large portion goes toward funding technology incubators for children without access to resources in our community – and worldwide. Each client becomes a partner in these efforts and all of the goodwill, data, impact, and visibility is directly and indirectly shared with every stakeholder in the process. Our partners are considered good environmental stewards and catalysts in making a social and economic impact in the lives of thousands of children across the globe.

👩🚀 Even in space, you have to take out the trash! That’s right! Astronauts also have to deal with waste, but in a super futuristic and innovative (and slightly crazy) way. 💥 Space debris, including e-waste, can become dangerous projectiles that threaten satellites and spacecraft. ♻️ NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration has developed the OSCAR (Orbital Syngas Commodity Augmentation Reactor) reactor. This device converts space trash and human waste into useful gases like methane, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide. 🔄 Handling trash in a zero-gravity environment is no easy task. NASA is working on technologies that separate and process materials, making recycling in space possible and even cool! 🛠️ In future missions, there are plans to turn waste into useful resources, such as raw materials for 3D printers or fuels. These innovations make space missions sustainable and protect space from the growing threat of orbital debris. Space science is on another level! 🚀 What did you think of the post? Nature can teach us how to recycle our old gadgets 🔧 Imagine this: termites and whales have more tricks up their sleeves than you do at bingo 🐋 Here are some examples: 🐋 Whale fins: They inspired more efficient and quieter wind turbines, so your gadgets are recycled with less energy and more style! 🐜 Termite nests: With their natural ventilation, they inspire super-efficient recycling plants. Less energy, more freshness! And what does this have to do with your old phone? 🐟 Robotic fish: This little friend monitors water quality and inspires us to detect and treat toxic waste in electronic recycling. 🕸️ Superior spider materials: Like spider silk, we are creating materials for devices that are stronger and easier to recycle. More durable than your excuses not to recycle! So, now you know, imitating nature makes us smarter and helps us recycle old gadgets more efficiently and sustainably 🌱 💚 Comment below with another example of biomimicry you recognize. #biomimicry #electronicrecycling #greennovation #sustainability #erevolution #esmartrecycling
