About us
Equipment Today provides the commercial construction industry with information for equipment selection, application, maintenance, and asset management, as well as safety and regulation. It serves contractors in highway and heavy and general building construction, demolition, utility, and other construction segments. In 2020, Equipment Today celebrated 55 years of publication and serving construction equipment business owners. Much like the equipment and technology it covers, Equipment Today magazine has gone through an evolutionary process, passing from one incarnation to another. It was first published in the mid-1960s as The Reporter of Construction Equipment; transitioned to become Equipment Guide News in March 1972, and was finally launched as Equipment Today in October 1986.
