Each summer, Energy Transfer and Sunoco employees purchase new shoes to distribute to children in under-resourced neighborhoods. This "Share the Shoes" initiative with the Northwest Neighborhood Police Officer (NPO) Unit of the Dallas Police Department helps build positive relationships within the community, and puts a smile on kids’ faces as they receive brand new shoes. https://lnkd.in/gs-ZDm-u

Meet Billy, a Lead Corrosion Technician in Tampa on the Florida Gas Transmission Pipeline system. As the team lead, he is responsible for updating management on the team’s weekly activities while also performing his own various tasks. He conducts surveys of technical equipment and performs atmospheric pipe inspections to support continued safe operation along the pipeline. Corrosion technicians must maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements, perform associated required tasks, and complete required documentation (OSHA, DOT, and EPA). They are responsible for corrosion control and associated compliance of cathodically protected pipelines, compressor stations or plant facilities, and other buried, submerged, or above ground facilities. Did you know? Our Florida Gas Transmission Pipeline system supplies approximately 60% of Florida's natural gas.

We are proud to have completed a number of long-term habitat improvement projects on PA State Game Lands where our pipelines traverse, in coordination with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and energy industry partners. We recently returned to SGL 12 in Bradford County to assist with the removal of protective plant barriers installed during our original plantings, and to install new fencing to ensure saplings can continue to thrive for decades to come. Today is Park and Recreation Professionals Day, which is part of the broader celebration of July as National Parks and Recreation Month to recognize that parks and recreation build stronger, healthier, more resilient communities. We're happy to support the Tulsa Community Foundation with $500,000 this year as part of our multi-year $5 million sponsorship of the Sports Courts at the Gathering Place park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We love being a part of such a vibrant community experience.
