🌟🎉HUGE Congratulations to our amazing Rachel Beck for passing her Board Exam! 🎉🌟 Rachel started her journey with Elevated Kids over two years ago as a Behavior Therapist and BCBA Supervisee and hasn’t stopped growing and learning!🤩 Rachel might have grown up on a farm 🐄 in Maryland, but she knew, even as a young child, that she wanted to be a “teacher” when she grew up. After working in a special education school in Maryland, she quickly realized that a big classroom wasn’t the right fit for her and she much prefered working one-on-one with children! After that, Rachel found herself moving to Philadelphia to attend Temple University where she earned her Masters of Science in Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis👩🏼🎓📊📈 #goowls 🦉 Rachel’s favorite part about working at Elevated Kids is building and maintaining close relationships with the families that she supports. She thrives on seeing the progress that occurs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis! She is passionate about helping her families feel supported and connected within their communities and is determined to partner with her families to create an environment that sets children up for success. 👧🏻👦🏽🫶🏼 Rachel, we are so proud of you and so grateful that you have chosen EK and our families as your home! We couldn’t let this week end without shouting out our amazing and newly minted Elevated Kids’ BCBA, Rachel Beck, who presented her impactful work on parent-implemented interventions to support effective outcomes for children diagnosed with both Autism and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) at ABAI in Philly this past weekend 👏🩵👏 Rachel is a proud Temple University 2022 graduate and conducted this great research for her Master’s thesis project entitled: “Teaching a Caregiver to Implement a Feeding Protocol via a Telehealth Training Program” with the findings from her study demonstrating effective outcomes, highlighting the positive, albeit limited, research to improve parent-implemented feeding support for young children! Congratulations Rachel! 🎉 Your EK family is so proud of you and so excited for what you will do next to impact the future generation of kids and families as a BCBA!
