Had the great opportunity to tour Allura™ USA’s #WhiteCityOR Fiber Cement siding, soffit, board and shake product plant with other members of the NW sales team. The team at the facility is one of the best I’ve ever seen, from line worker to plant manger to dispatch personnel they are #Allstars. Daniel Brandon Phillip. Allura Making The Material Difference.
Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month 2024 Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together From September 15 to October 15, Elementia USA joins in celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month, recognizing the rich history, culture, and diversity of Hispanic Americans. Their heritage is rooted in Spain and 19 countries and territories, including Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and more. Took a tour of the Lakes at Harveston neighborhood in Baton Rouge. Loved seeing all the new builds from Dupree construction using Allura’s products. Shout out to our partners at Martin Lumber and Dupree Construction. Beautifully done. 👏🏻 #makingthematerialdifference #allurausa #batonrougebuilt #newconstruction #louisianabuilders #hbagbr Evan DeGeorgio Christopher Forys Home Builders Association of Greater Baton Rouge - HBAGBR Sandy Pace Kevin Potthoff Allura™ USA
Last Friday August 27th, the Corporate Office had an incredible team-building experience at the Astros game. It was the perfect opportunity to come together outside of work, share some laughs, and strengthen our connections. Moments like these remind us of the importance of teamwork, both on and off the field. And by the way, the game was awesome! A great win for the home team with suspense right until the end. #elementiausa #comejoinus #greatplacetowork #teambuilding
In mid-August, the Houston Office had the opportunity to volunteer by serving a meal to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. "RMHC Greater Houston provides families with a seriously ill child what they need most – each other. Located in the Texas Medical Center, Ronald McDonald House keeps families together and close to their child’s medical services during a difficult and critical time." Thank you, RMHC, for the opportunity to help. It was a beautiful and meaningful experience for all our volunteers. Teammates, we are proud of you! The GRR! Sumter Awareness and Activity team, including Christina Hartigan and Bethany Laverdiere, has been very active in coordinating several important community and internal activities. These efforts included a donation drive by GRR! Sumter employees for the Prima Breast Cancer Center and a school supply donation for Lemira School, where team members like Lathasha Cabbagestalk and Janice Sharpe attended in person. Additionally, the team introduced "Family Fun Day" as part of their team-building events, providing an opportunity for teammates and their families to enjoy time together. We are very Proud of our GRR! Sumter team ! #GRRSumter #GCHIValues #TeamBuilding #CommunitySupport #ComeJoinUs

Striving to be Better
The GCHI Cement Division sales team recently gathered for the first half of the 2024 meeting in Philadelphia, hosted by Brendan Mangan and his Mid-Atlantic Team. This event was a great opportunity to welcome new faces, align our objectives and benefit from the collective expertise of Giant, Keystone, and Dragon, as well as various departments including Legal, Operations, Marketing, Technical Services, and Logistics. A motivating introduction by our CEO, Tim Kuebler was the Kick-off. A highlight of the meeting was learning about our sustainable processes from Stephen Holt and Dale Welch of our sister company, GRR! and their role in lowering the carbon footprint in our cement ...Their insights were both enlightening and inspiring. Special thanks to James Morrisey from JDM for providing a fascinating look into the customer perspective and sharing his compelling history, and to David Zwicke from PCA for offering an insightful discussion on the economic forecast for our industry. As always, we made time for some fantastic team-building activities. These activities were not only fun but also strengthened our team bond making it a memorable experience for everyone. Overall, the meeting was a tremendous success. It deepened our knowledge, fostered a collaborative spirit, and reinforced our dedication to delivering exceptional and professional service to our customers. Congratulations and thanks to Yonn Barrick, our Vice President of Sales; Charlene Mott, our Sales and Marketing superstar; and all participants for a great meeting! #GCHILeadership #CustomerFocus #TeamBuilding #BuildingSustainableCommunitiesSince1883 #EastCement
