As the Technical Program Chair, I’m responsible for overseeing the entire process of evaluating and selecting the abstracts submitted for our technical program. This role involves carefully reviewing submissions to ensure they meet our high standards and align with the workshop’s focus. Once the selection process is complete, I lead the effort to gather all the necessary materials from the selected authors, including their papers, PowerPoint presentations, and posters. I’ve been involved with the ESW since 2008, so the upcoming 2025 workshop will mark my 18th year of participation. I originally attended to present a paper, but over the years, my involvement has deepened. One of my favorite aspects of the workshop is the networking opportunities. I genuinely enjoy meeting the authors and attendees, as well as participating in the many activities that make the ESW a unique and enriching experience. -Lloyd Gordon - ESW Technical Program Chair #Electricalmaintenance #Electricalmaintenance #NFPA70E #NFPA70B #ArcFlash #ArcRatings #Shockprotection #ArcRatedPPE #electricalsafety #electricians #electricalsafetystandards #electricalsafetycodes
