EMC attended the RAPID Conference this week. It was great to meet and interact with so many people within the Nuclear Power Industry who depend on great companies like EMC to keep their plants operational.

Before and after photos of this 1250hp, 600rpm, 2300 volt Synchronous Fan Pump Motor. This motor underwent a complete refurbishment, including stator rewind, new OEM field poles, and new split-style collector rings. This motor also received a line bore in our machine shop, which insures the proper alignment of stator bore and bearing housings (which were replaced due to excessive clearances and cracks throughout). #pulpandpaper #electricmotors #MotorMonday #EMC

As the holiday season approaches, I am proud to highlight an exceptional achievement by the Electric Motor & Contracting Co., Inc team. We recently completed a complex restack and rewind project on a substantial stator. This task demanded meticulous craftsmanship and stringent engineering discipline, especially in securing the core to the stator frame. I'm pleased to report that our team's efforts have resulted in a stator that exemplifies perfection, particularly considering its significant size. Notably, the stator boasts an impressive bore size of over 67 inches. This accomplishment not only reflects our team's dedication and skill but also our commitment to delivering excellence in every project we undertake. This 5000hp, 296rpm, 6600 volt vertical Circulation Pump Motor recently underwent a full refurbishment by EMC's Nuclear Services Division. EMC has the capability and capacity to repair all of your largest rotating equipment within our Nuclear Services Building, which includes 60 ton cranes with 60 feet of lifting height. #powergeneration #nuclearpower
