[Success story] Discover how our Seaboost by Egis people together with Ifremer helped in restoring France’s native oyster habitat, as parf of European Union-funded CLIMAREST project! 👏 [360° immersive video! 🥽] 💡 Creating remarkable biogenic reefs, large scale restoration projects like this one have multiple benefits once oyster population has been brought back to a critical level: - more resilient coastlines 💪 - better coastline erosion control 🕶 - improved water quality and fish population 🐟🐠 - carbon storage. 🌍 Discover the ambitious Green Riyadh project in Egis' sustainable flagship projects book! 📖 Project #3: Transforming Riyadh into a green oasis and protecting biodiversity 🌳 Key highlights: - 3,300 parks covering 19 km² of greenery - 7.5 million trees and shrubs planted - 1.7 million m³/day of treated water reused - Eco-design performance level 4! 🌿 Part of Saudi Vision 2030 and the "Quality of Life" programme, the Green Riyadh project aims to transform Riyadh into one of the most livable cities globally. Launched by King Salman bin Abdulaziz in 2019, it seeks to reduce carbon impact, lower temperatures, and promote sustainable communities. 🌱 Egis proposed an #ecodesign approach, considering environmental and social issues. We developed a management platform using a GIS database to supervise replanting projects, optimise tree species selection, and enhance biodiversity. By introducing native species like Acacia and Quercus deserticola, we combat global warming and improve the city's resilience. [🔔 Breaking News] Paris-Beauvais airport concession and modernisation entrusted for 30 years to Bellova , a new project company led by Egis. 👏 ✅The project combines objectives of modernisation and of a well-balanced and sustainable development. Led by the Group, Bellova is formed with Serena Industrial Partners, Bouygues Construction, Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur and TIIC. Motivated by the saturation of the current facilities, the modernisation project includes: 📌 rational growth of commercial traffic and related activities ➡️The contract provides for a target of 45,000 annual rotations, the break-even point for the modernisation project. 📌 strong commitments in terms of the environment and sustainable development including a plan to reduce nuisances ➡️Bellova has set itself the target of achieving ACA (Airport Carbon Accreditation) level 3 from 2028, then ACA level 4 before 2032 , to be compatible with the Paris Agreement. #Egis #Paris-Beauvais #sustainability #airport
