C’est l’expérience vécue par 4 collaborateurs Egis durant une journée avec Hélène Noesmoen à Marseille ! 🤩⛵    Dans le cadre de sa préparation à l’événement sportif du siècle en France, David SOUCHAUD, Clotilde COQUILLAT, Déborah Altman et Jean François MICHEL ont pu bénéficier d'un moment privilégié avec notre véliplanchiste IQ Foil de la #TeamEgis, qui vise l’or cet été au fil des vagues de la Marina de Marseille.    En pleine préparation pour les Jeux Olympiques de Paris 2024 - Comité d'organisation des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques de 2024, Hélène a accueilli nos collaborateurs à l’endroit même où se dérouleront les épreuves de voile dans quelques jours. Ils ont pu découvrir l’endroit où les champions se réunissent pour s’entraîner mais également se ressourcer.    Ingénieure génie civil de formation et très concernée par les problématiques environnementales, Hélène a pu échanger avec nos collaborateurs qui partagent ses valeurs.    Une journée de découverte accompagnée par un beau soleil mais trop peu de vent pour nos collègues. 🙌    Un grand merci Hélène pour ta disponibilité et pour avoir fait découvrir ton sport ! 💡 [Innovation by Egis] GIIB Motorway Satellite Monitoring #20 How are AI and satellite imagery disrupting road maintenance? 🌍 In Türkiye, Egis operates a 428 km motorway with one of the 4 largest suspension bridges in the world; the 3 km long Osmangazi Bridge linking Istanbul to Izmir. Built in less than 6 years, which is incredible timing, it's a marvel of modern engineering! 🌐 As an operator, and building on its track record in AI solutions for motorway operations, Egis has developed an innovative platform with the Portuguese company Spotlite. Thanks to AI and satellite imagery, we can now detect road and embankment movements with an accuracy of 5 c mm, ensuring near real-time monitoring. This technology has resulted in significant savings for our customers, allowing us to avoid dangerous inspections, anticipate abnormal ground movements and intervene immediately. [Success story 🤝] Two years ago, Egis joined forces with 30 other organisations to kick off the European-funded programme ‘TULIPS’ (Demonstrating lower polluting solutions for sustainable airports across Europe). The aim was to develop and test innovations that would help us all make the switch to low-carbon mobility and enhance sustainability at and around airports. 🛩🌿 🏆 At the halfway point, 24 months in, 17 demonstrations of green airport innovations are underway. These are all about making the world a better place! They're looking at ways to make things last longer, manage energy in airports, use hydrogen in ground equipment, offset carbon, and manage transport more efficiently. #egis #innovation #sustainability #airports #aviation

🔋 On 12 July, our Egis teams had the chance to visit Symbio's SymphonHy plant, Europe's largest factory for the production of hydrogen fuel cells. 🌍 🚀 With a capacity of 16,000 fuel cell systems and 50,000 by 2026, this Gigafactory is at the heart of the energy revolution underway. Thanks to massive investment and real progress, Symbio is making hydrogen a reality. 👷♂️🔨 Egis is proud to have been involved in this ambitious project from its inception to its completion, in its role as technical advisor for both the construction of the Gigafactory and the hydrogen production, compression and storage unit for testing and activating the fuel cells when they leave the plant. Our multi-disciplinary teams met very tight construction schedules, costs and quality, demonstrating our ability to meet the most demanding challenges. This major project, completed in just over two years, demonstrates our teams' dedication and expertise.
