Last week in White County, #Indiana, EDPR NA showcased its commitment to community-driven initiatives. #CommunitiesMatter 💚 Our team hosted a visit last Wednesday for 12 #students and an instructor from Ivy Tech Community College Lafayette's Energy Technology program to our Meadow Lake Wind Farm in Chalmers, IN, and NIPSCO's Indiana Crossroads Solar Park in Reynolds, NC. Matthew Myers, Andrew Magner, and Bennett Fuson from EDPR NA, along with Brian Kwiatkowski of NIPSCO, provided the students with valuable insights into wind turbine technician roles, project development, and the collaborative efforts behind Indiana Crossroads Solar Park. The visit included a tour of the solar site, where the students learned about solar operations and the impact on local agriculture. ⚡ Later that day, we also staffed a booth at the White County Fair in Reynolds, IN. Thank you to our EDPR NA team members including Cecilia Lamphere, Isabelle Brodbeck, David Dilts, Christopher Boyles, Andrew Magner, and Bennett Fuson, for participating and sharing information about our projects and renewable energy. 🍃 It was an inspiring day of community engagement and education, highlighting our commitment to inspiring future renewable energy professionals and supporting local events. 👉 Learn more about our community-driven approach at: https://lnkd.in/grJUbir5 #IN #communities #communityrelations #whitecountyfair #impact #renewables #energytransition #EDPRNA
