    WE'RE HIRING! The Community Coordinator is a special position. The Community Coordinator is responsible for working with 11 coalition partners to provide support with planning and implementing our collaborative community engagement efforts. An 11-member coalition led by Friends of Trees was awarded a $12 million Urban and Community Forestry Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. The grant will bring resources to Justice40 communities most impacted by climate change, pollution, and environmental hazards. The Project Administrator will engage deeply and regularly with all coalition partners. See our Jobs page for position details and how to apply.     The Williams Family was one of the many families that lost everything in Slide Ranch Fire (White Swan, Washington) over the weekend. Today they’re all safe being surrounded with community getting their basic needs met. We are seeking support from the Portland Community to help our neighbors, friends and relatives up north.
