Earlier this week, the Department of Energy (DOE) posted new guidance for the Emissions Value Request process to be used in obtaining a provisional emissions rate (PER) for the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Section 45V #cleanhydrogen production tax credit. A PER is necessary when a hydrogen producer’s process is not included in the most recent 45VH2-GREET model. A link to the announcement is found here, and we’ve summarized the steps you’ll need to take here https://ow.ly/42E850TCHLi To learn more or if you need support with your submission, please reach out to me at [email protected] or your EcoEngineers representative.

Considering the benefits of adopting a corn kernel fiber (CKF) pathway for ethanol production is crucial. From increased corn oil recovery to potential tax credits and RIN programs under RFS-2, there's a lot to gain. Read more from Jim Ramm's article, "A Kernel of Opportunity" published in Ethanol Today, about how ethanol producers can leverage these economic incentives and strengthen the D3 RIN market: https://lnkd.in/gd9FyKNz #RenewableFuel #Ethanol #CKF #EcoEngineers

Thank you to Amy Holm and The Climate Registry, along with the esteemed panelists, Henry Stern, Liane Randolph, Scott Wiener, and Reuven Carlyle, for the great discussion today at #ClimateWeekNYC. We need industry and legislators to come together to standardize Scope 3 emissions, and we're making strides with this event and the white paper.

Thank you, Violet George of the Carbon Herald, for sharing the details of the launch of a new white paper with The Climate Registry and EcoEngineers. The paper will be launched on Wednesday during #NewYorkClimateWeek and offers a roadmap for legislators and industry leaders to develop regulations that not only capture Scope 3 emissions but also ensure data accuracy and reduce compliance complexity. Laith Amin, Vice President, Growth and Strategic Development at EcoEngineers, told the Carbon Herald in an exclusive interview about the growing demand for supply chain traceability and visibility into embedded emissions. “It’s very important for industries to come together and figure out how they’re going to collect data in the same way and report information in the same way. That standardization, in addition to the technology, is going to bring clarity and trust in this information that’s reported, and it is also going to avoid a huge proliferation in compliance costs,” Amin said.
