🎥 Ecodeo is about amplifying climate solutions. We’ve produced thousands of high-end video and film interviews that tell impactful and important stories. Often, a lot of research and prep goes into running these interviews correctly in order to ensure authentic and emotionally resonant narratives result. ❤️ These are a myriad of nuanced, human aspects in our work that AI simply cannot replicate. That's the simplest way to say it. 🎬 Last week, one of our senior editors shared a visual that brought us joy and hammered this home. It showed how evenly balanced our speakers are in a client project we're currently editing and how that was the result of sifting through 18 long transcripts and balancing various story threads. Each color represents a different speaker, each here are given almost equal screen time, ensuring their thoughts carry equal weight. 📣 In this day and age of extreme polarization, balancing perspectives, voice, generations, demographics, roles, orientations, and organizations on the screen is EVERYTHING! This balance is crucial for providing a comprehensive view of any story, showcasing multiple perspectives from different stakeholders or those impacted or apart of it. Achieving this balance is one of our more fun creative filmmaking challenges, essential in the way we weave together nuanced narratives. ✨There are infinite creative options, as infinite as the stars. Truly. 💼 If you're focused on initiatives driving climate solutions, or an equitable, regenerative green economy, authentic video content can powerfully showcase your vision to a wider audience. Whether it’s already on your radar or tucked away in your project list, prioritizing video can effectively communicate your organization’s successes, products, innovations, partnerships, and impact with ease and it doesn't have to break the bank at all. The most important thing is to keep it consistent. Communicating your organizations wins, products, engineering, new partnerships, progress, impact effectively and consistently is everything.🌍 📺 5 Billion videos are watched daily!!! Video storytelling is not a "nice to have", it's a business essential these days. Hands down. And it's best to have humans create it with and for you. 💫

We were filming various business partners who together are creating a sustainable business ecosystem developing that is a great role model for so many regions in our country! Brand & Family Winery Second Chance Monterey Bay Aquarium Monterey Bay Farmers Markets, as well as many other partners in the region who have created partnerships to foster an equitable, regenerative, sustainable green- blue local economy in this gorgeous region . Here are just a few environmental visionaries we celebrate this month: *Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson* As a marine biologist and policy expert, Dr. Johnson's work with the Urban Ocean Lab focuses on coastal conservation and the disproportionate effects of climate change on marginalized communities. *Jerome Foster II* The visionary behind OneMillionOfUs, Foster mobilizes youth activism in the climate arena, emphasizing the power of young voices in shaping environmental policy. Remy Zahiga from the Democratic Republic of Congo, advocates for the protection of the Congo Basin. Marina Silva has been a prominent figure in Brazilian politics and environmental activism. She has served as the Minister of the Environment and has been a staunch advocate for the Amazon rainforest and indigenous rights. Her work has brought international attention to the challenges facing Brazil's environment. Ok, who doesn't love entrepreneur and musician, Jaden Smith who co-founded JUST Water, an eco-friendly bottled water company and installing water filtration systems in communities with poor access to clean drinking water? Raeesah Noor-Mahomed from South Africa, champions school boycotts for climate action and participated in COP26 as an observer. Jacqueline Patterson: As the Senior Director of the NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Program, Patterson champions policies that intersect climate justice with racial and economic equity. Dixon Bahandagira of Uganda is on a mission to plant one million trees to mitigate climate change impacts. Ahmed Elhadj Taieb of Tunisia is the nation's youngest climate negotiator and an environmental blogger. Dr. Robert Bullard: Celebrated as the "Father of Environmental Justice," Dr. Bullard's advocacy highlights the critical link between environmental policies and racial justice here in the States. Leah Thomas: Through Intersectional Environmentalist, Thomas fosters an inclusive movement that advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion within environmental circles. Winnie Cheche from Kenya, is a voice for conservation and climate activism within the African youth climate movement.  Akon, the musician and entrepreneur launched Akon Lighting Africa, aiming to provide electricity by solar energy in Africa. Here's some positive Climate News to keep ya going early in this new year... 🎐 🌞 Clean technologies are like a ship that's sailed, and there's no turning back. One solar panel after another, clean energy is on a course to dominate no matter who is steering the political ship. There's some real truth to that statement! 🌿⚓️ Wind and solar to produce over a third of global power by 2030, Reuters says.. I think it will be closer to half by then, given how fast technology is evolving. 🇨🇳 China's on fire with solar panels and wind turbines, and if they keep it up, we might see a drop in carbon pollution. The rest of the world cut emissions in 2023, and if China joins the party in 2024, last year could be the year global climate pollution hit its peak! 👨💻 In the U.S., thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, clean tech is getting a boost. Expect more clean vibes as state energy offices dish out rebates for folks making their homes eco-friendly. And pretty cool too that tax credits for electric vehicles can now be handed over to dealerships, making them like instant discounts on wheels. 👨🌾 Congress, such as it is ;) is in talks about renewing the Farm Bill, with hopes of funding natural climate solutions. They're also hustling to speed up energy infrastructure projects. The Nov 5th election will be a game-changer for U.S. climate policies. 🤞 Of course, the US Nov 5 election might result in the same old, same old bipartisan climate bill dance as will the El Niño unknowns this year –which could mess with global temperatures, but 2024 could also be a turning point for our energy scene, carbon pollution, and Earth's climate. Fingers crossed for good vibes! 🌏 The more sustainable solutions implemented this year, the better.
