Today, we’re thrilled to announce Mytra led by CEO and Co-Founder Chris Walti and CTO and Co-Founder Ahmad B. — has emerged out of stealth with $78M in total financing through the Series B stage to revolutionize supply chains with a new, universal robotics system. Chris previously headed the Optimus Robotics team at Tesla, and Ahmad led factory software at Tesla and Rivian. Existing automation systems have largely been point-solutions, which have — in turn — led to untenable complexity. To compound the challenge, today warehouses face a 49% yearly employee turnover rate, with some as high as 150%. There's an urgent need to modernize and strengthen our national supply chain infrastructure against evolving threats. Mytra brings an entirely new way of storing and moving material flow with a modular, system-level approach, handling up to ~60% of the process compared to the ~10% typical of standard solutions. Designed for high performance, easy implementation, and robust support, Mytra’s key innovations include: 🤖 Software-Layer Intelligence: Advanced computer vision and sensors enable real-time, precise responses, enhancing simplicity, uptime, reliability, and robustness. 🤖 Human-Level Flexibility: AI-driven robots operate autonomously, making real-time decisions and handling exceptions independently. 🤖 3D Movement: Capable of moving heavy loads (up to 3,000 pounds) in any direction, Mytra pushes the boundaries of efficiency and flexibility in warehouses and beyond. Today, we're excited to announce several product updates and the general availability of our Simbe Mobile and Simbe Virtual Tour applications. Simbe Mobile enhances task management by offering prioritized inventory and pricing tasks, up-to-date product availability information, real-time store performance metrics, and more—all within a configurable app available on any device (iOS, Android). https://lnkd.in/gv87dMib Simbe Virtual Tour allows retailers to remotely view and navigate stores with unmatched depth and frequency, optimizing store layouts and strategic decision-making while conserving resources. This enables virtual store walks that can be conducted anytime, anywhere. https://lnkd.in/gcpFmKfX These groundbreaking applications introduce a revolutionary approach for retailers to understand their stores, delivering today's most precise and actionable insights into the hands of key stakeholders across a retailer's business. These capabilities enhance our web platform and further solidify Simbe’s position as the premier provider of store intelligence with proven results at scale, used globally by dozens of retailers across three continents. Special thanks to our customers who deployed these industry-leading applications over the last several months and to BJ's Wholesale Club’s Senior Director of Regional Operations, Phil Gazzillo, and IHL Services' President and Principal Analyst, Greg Buzek, for highlighting the importance of such innovation in retail.

The Tesla of boats? Ok. The price point is very different ($258,000) to a consumer EV. But, to me this is the Tesla of wake boats. Fully battery-electric, built by former Tesla and SpaceX engineers and incredible OS. I’ll be honest it; it was a lot of fun to take the Arc Sport out in the Bay. It’s designed for lakes and wide rivers that are the home of wake sports. But she handled beautifully (thanks to drive by wire system) in the salt water. My experience of electric boats before this was taking the Duffy around Newport harbour (IYKYK). The economics of a direct to consumer model and how Arc design/produces the Arc Sport was very interesting. $258K is a big number if you’re not familiar with wake boats. But the market leaders in gas wake boats charge just about the same. Huge thanks to Paayal Zaveri for braving my driving and cruising the Bay with me. A lot of fun shooting (on iPhone by the way) and great work by James Samay for edit and production. Thanks to Arc for the ride and Eclipse for the intro.

In recent years, huge technological advances have been made in the renewable energy space, but storage remains the critical missing link to a clean energy future. Peak Energy, launched out of Eclipse's Venture Equity (VE) program, is tackling this problem with a sustainable, affordable, and reliable grid storage solution. The rapid rise of AI, coupled with the growing emphasis on electrification and EV adoption, has made the need for grid-scale energy storage solutions more urgent than ever. Today — less than 9 months since Peak's inception — the company has announced its $55M Series A to commercialize and scale its grid storage technology. Eclipse Partner Greg Reichow and Venture Partner Ryan Gibson share more on today’s news: https://bit.ly/3Y8LniO Congratulations Landon Mossburg, Cameron Dales, Liam O'Connor, and the entire Peak team on this milestone!

Last week, Gravity CEO & Co-founder Saleh ElHattab and Eclipse Partner Aidan Madigan-Curtissat down with Jill Malandrino to break down how investing in climate tech has proven to cut costs, mitigate risk, and future-proof companies ahead of regulatory changes. Here's a snapshot of the first few questions: Q: How can companies proactively approach sustainability to ensure long-term benefits? Saleh: Sustainability should be viewed as a two-sided coin: emissions and energy cost. By focusing on total energy consumption and optimizing sources, companies can align with traditional business priorities such as cost and risk mitigation. This approach remains relevant regardless of evolving regulations, making it a strategic move that offers long-term benefits. Q: What is the role of infrastructure in achieving climate and energy goals? Aidan: Our country is facing an energy crisis, with forecasted demand growing by 50% from five thousand terawatt hours per year to more than seven thousand terawatt hours per year in the next decade. We need a modern infrastructure for energy generation, transmission, storage and measurement to come remotely close to satisfying this massive leap in demand. At Eclipse, we invest in a wide array of technologies that transform physical industries, including energy infrastructure. Examples include new battery storage solutions for renewable energy, energy management and decarbonization software, microgrid orchestration technology, and other energy solutions for industrials. Q: Can you share a use case where Gravity's technology has made a significant impact? Saleh: There are many, but to pick one: a prominent utility company uses Gravity's technology to manage its cooling loop for the city, including stadiums and pharmaceutical manufacturers --- through the volatile seasons of the Midwest where it's hot one day and cold the next. By leveraging Gravity’s intelligent management of temperatures, they reduced cooling system consumption by 30%, resulting in significant cost savings and reduced carbon consumption, highlighting the potential of energy efficiency solutions. Labor has always been a cornerstone of GDP, yet the U.S. economy is increasingly constrained by labor shortages. Historically, offshoring spurred productivity, but now we face the daunting challenge of reshoring manufacturing amid labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, trade disputes, and geopolitical tensions — each affecting productivity and national security. Imagine, however, a future where embodied AI elevates labor productivity to digital-era heights. In this scenario, the "labor" component of GDP wouldn't merely grow; it would become virtually limitless. Eclipse Partner Seth Winterroth explains why embodied AI and autonomy holds the promise to transform the U.S. economic trajectory. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eTMnd4d4

Despite moving 80% of the world’s goods and being a $432B cornerstone of the U.S. economy, the marine industry has seen little innovation over the past several decades. Enter Arc, founded by rocket engineers, EV experts, and passionate boaters, who are leveraging EV advancements from the auto industry to revolutionize marine transportation. Electric boats offer lower maintenance, higher efficiency, zero emissions, instant torque, reduced costs, and quieter rides. However, electric boats have faced a significant barrier — insufficient battery capacity to rival gas-powered boats. By harnessing and pushing the boundaries of EV innovations, Arc conquered this challenge at record speed by designing boats around their batteries from the ground up. In just three years, the Arc team introduced the Arc One and Arc Sport, smashing product-launch expectations. Read more on Arc’s journey to bring the EV revolution to the marine industry: https://lnkd.in/gGDtSfPN
